sOdEeP mUsIc is a Montana-based indie label and artist rooted in the late-90s underground electronic scene. It started in 1998 with Jumalatar — a transatlantic collaboration between the sOdEeP mUsIc founder, Great Falls producer Michael Gilboe (Copperhead Production), and Finnish electronic musician Perza Arhola of the Brutal Art Soundlab. Their debut dropped on Indulge U Records on June 29, 1999: nine tracks across house, trance, and pop, pressed on both CD Maxi and vinyl. Published under ASCAP. Played in Gap stores. Rotated on radio in Denver and Seattle. Performed live in Atlanta and Las Vegas.
Twenty-four years later, the Jumalatar catalog was professionally remastered and re-released as The Archives Remastered (2023) — four tracks available on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, and Discogs. Not archived. Re-released. Because the music still holds up. In March 2024, sOdEeP mUsIc launched its label imprint with a new single: "Callin' out for Your Mother" — available on 7 major streaming platforms.
The label operates on a simple philosophy: equitable deals, genre fusion, and real support for unsigned artists. No one-sided contracts. No corporate math. The 406 area code runs through everything — this is Montana music built for everywhere.

sOdEeP mUsIc is a Montana-based independent label operating out of the 406 — Great Falls, MT. Founded on 25+ years of industry experience spanning production, performance, publishing, and distribution, the label was built to do what the major label system won't: give artists equitable deals, creative control, and real promotional support.
The label's philosophy is simple: fair math, genre fusion, and honest deals. Artists keep more. The industry standard has always run the other direction. We built in the opposite direction because we've been on both sides of the table, and we know which side works better long-term.
Artists keep more. No one-sided contracts. No corporate math. Transparent splits from day one.
House, trance, pop, electronic — crossing genres isn't risky. It's the point. Jumalatar proved it works.
The infrastructure exists. The knowledge is real. We find artists who deserve a shot and give them one.
Not a startup. 25+ years behind every decision. Credibility earned, not claimed.
